Legal information

Terms of Use

What may be done on the site, the standing of the information presented on it, and how responsibility is divided between the parties.

This document governs the use of the association's website. It does not replace the regulations of the sport, which apply to player registration, to the running of games and to discipline in the leagues.

1Acceptance of the terms

Use of the Israel Lacrosse Association website is subject to the terms set out in this document. Browsing the site constitutes agreement to them. Anyone who does not agree to the terms is asked not to use the site.

The terms are drafted in the masculine form for convenience only and refer to all genders alike.

2Use of the site

The site is intended for personal, non-commercial use, for the purpose of obtaining information about the activity of the sport in Israel. In the course of that use, you may not:

  • Impair the proper operation of the site, place a load on it, or attempt to gain access to areas that are not open to the public.
  • Collect information from the site by automated means on a scale that goes beyond reasonable use.
  • Copy content from the site for commercial use without the prior written consent of the association.
  • Impersonate another person, a club, or an office holder of the association.

3The information presented on the site

The fixture lists, the results and the tables are published on the site for the convenience of the public. We make an effort to keep the information accurate and up to date, but there may be errors, delays in updating, or last-minute changes.

The binding information as to the result of a game, a position in a table or a player's eligibility is that held in the records of the association. In the event of a discrepancy between what is presented on the site and the records, the records prevail.

The times and locations of games may change. Before travelling to a ground, it is advisable to confirm the details with the club.

4Intellectual property

All rights in the site, including in the design, the code, the texts, the photographs and the emblems of the association and of the leagues, are reserved to the Israel Lacrosse Association or to the rights holders on its behalf.

The clubs' emblems are the property of the clubs and are displayed on the site with their consent and for the purpose of presenting the activity of the leagues only.

Information from the site may be quoted with attribution of the source. Any other use, including copying, distribution or republication on a commercial scale, requires prior written consent.

5User accounts

The administration area of the site is intended for office holders at the clubs and at the association, and the login details for it are issued by the association only.

An account holder is responsible for keeping their login details confidential and for every action carried out through their account. Unauthorised use of an account must be reported to us immediately.

The association may suspend or cancel an account that has been used contrary to these terms or to the regulations of the sport.

6Links to other sites

The site may include links to club websites, to international sports bodies and to social networks. We have no control over their content and we are not responsible for it or for the privacy policy in force on them.

7Limitation of liability

The site and the information on it are offered as they are. We do not undertake that the site will be continuously available, and we may take it out of service for maintenance or updating.

The association will not bear liability for damage caused as a result of reliance on information published on the site, subject to any law.

Nothing stated on the site constitutes medical advice. Participation in sporting activity is conditional on a valid medical certificate, obtained through the club.

8Changes to the service and to the terms

The association may change the structure of the site, its content and the services offered on it, and may also update these terms from time to time.

The binding version is the one published on this page, and the date it was last updated is stated at the bottom of it. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes agreement to the updated version.

9Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and the use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of Israel only. Exclusive jurisdiction in any matter concerning them is vested in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv District.
